In The Shop

I have several projects going right now as well as working out some speculative pieces and prototypes. I spent the better part of the morning today working on a on a iPhone charger/dock prototype for myself out of Western Walnut. I am tired of the charger cable mess and my iphone being haphazardly tossed on the windowsill to charge. So, I started this.

I have been using mostly hand tools for practice, but I did use a router for the recess that holds the iphone. I then chiseled out a channel for the charger cable to press into.

I still need to do the finishing work, but so far it looks pretty nice.
